Just following up to this post.
Richard Branson (of the Virgin empire) received an email complaining about a flight to India. I take it he didn't respond promptly enough - the email went viral.
Good publicity is hard to get. Bad publicity - not so much. And it's not like Richard Branson is new to bad publicity, (link for Canadians only!) Anyways, after the letter went viral, instead of saying anything, Branson had his communications director answer with what essentially comes down to "we're sorry you feel that way," (an opinion derived from this article).
I have nothing much else to say - you can sort of guess what my opinion on this is.
